Mr Palethorpe, said: "We have seen how cancer can devastate patients’ and their families’ lives.

"Many patients don’t get to choose if they lose their hair or not, so we thought we would do this to show our solidarity and support and to raise awareness and money for cancer research."

So far, the five have already raised £1,650.00, topping their £15,00 target. To support them visit justgiving.com/goingglabrous
