A historian has published a book full of photographs of Battersea ‘then and now’.
Ron Elam co-authored the book Battersea Through Time, with his colleague Simon McNeill-Ritchie, and provided numerous photographs he has collected from the past.
Everywhere from Clapham Junction to Lavender Hill, Nine Elms and Battersea Park is featured.
The 96-page book reveals where old buildings have disappeared and new ones have shot up- but many places are still recognisable.
