The youngsters, in reception and year one, took part in a number of activities throughout the year including a dress-up-day, a Christmas fair and most recently a Summer Fete on Friday, July 4.

The youngsters presented a representative of GOSH with a cheque in assembley on Tuesday, July 8.

The school opened in 2012 with just a reception class and is growing each year. In September the number of pupils will double when a new year three class is opened.

Bridget Saul, acting Headteacher of Wandsworth Prep School, said: “Not only are we very proud of the amount we’ve raised but we’ve been really impressed by the way the children and parents have risen to the challenge of fundraising.
