Three people were injured in an assault late on a Monday night in a fast food restaurant in Battersea.

Police have released CCTV footage and images of a man and woman they wish to speak to after an assault in McDonald's in St John's Road, near Clapham Junction station at 11.40pm on June 27. 

A man and a woman entered the restaurant and the man told a witness to take off his hat.

The man then became abusive to staff and to other customers waiting to be served.

A disagreement broke out and the two suspects attacked some of the customers.

Two men and a woman suffered minor cuts to their faces as a result.

The CCTV shows two suspects, one man is described as a medium built white man in his mid 20s with a beard and tattoos on both arms wearing a white short sleeve England football shirt with a red trim around the sleeve ends and collar and a number '19' on the back of the shirt.

He wore grey shorts and navy blue trainers.

A woman, who police also want to speak with, is described as a medium built white woman in her 20s with long dark brown hair tied in a ponytail, wearing a green jacket with a white shirt underneath, believed by witnesses to be an England shirt, with blue leggings and white trainers.
