Taylor make your physique
Tune in and tone up with Luke's latest exercise DVD called Business Fitness.
Tune in and tone up with Luke's latest exercise DVD called Business Fitness.

A South African fitness guru who has spent a decade training everyone from housewives to aspiring footballers is now targeting those who live a life on room service.

The dreaded business trip, with its long periods spent travelling or exhausted in lonely hotel rooms with only take away food and movies for company, has long been an enemy of a healthy body and waistline.

But Luke Taylor, 27, who lives in Smugglers Way, Wandsworth, hopes to change all that with a new DVD he has released.

Aimed at busy professionals with a work-out easily completed in the comfort of a hotel room, Business Fitness means there is no longer any excuse.

Luke said: "It's for people away on business who come in from a long day at work and don't want to go down to the hotel gym. They can just kick off their shoes and put it on their laptop. It mimics a personal trainer's session with a bit of kickboxing, some lunges and some stretches."

Luke, who moved to Putney and then Wandsworth from Durban seven years ago, puts his own sporty outlook down to growing up in South Africa.

He said: "In South Africa in general with the sun and everything it's very easy to be active and sporty, especially being by the ocean."

And he loves that Wandsworth is not far from the water either. "The fact that it's on the river is fantastic. It's absolutely awesome to go for a run along the river. It reminds me of Durban."

Since making the move to Wandsworth Luke has been a rising star in the world of fitness. He has written for Men's Health magazine and is a fitness coach for the Football Academy, which scouts young players for junior Premiership teams.
