BANGER RACING: National bangers world champion Shane Davies (above) added the pre-1970 Classic Bangers World Champion title to his CV with a great drive at Wimbledon Stadium on Sunday, May 28th. Davies, behind the wheel of a classic 1968 Volvo, claimed the title after Keith Painter's huge 1969 American Motors Ambassador station wagon came to a standstill. CRICKET: Wimbledon collected four points for a winning draw on a rain-hit Saturday in the Shepherd Neame Surrey Championship on Saturday. The Dons posted 255-6 with Kiwi Richard Pudney hitting 84 and Sean Davies 76 before reducing Nor-mandy to 109-8.
