Hundreds of young people were invited to Wimbledon Studios this week for a lively debate on the House of Commons set where scenes from The Iron Lady were filmed.

Organised by the British Youth Council and the Youth Parliament, the event on Tuesday, April 10, coincided with the DVD release of Iron Lady, starring Meryl Streep, which follows the life and career of Margaret Thatcher.

Politically-active youngsters joined to discuss issues raised in the film and the increasing role of women within Parliament.

The Iron Lady is out on DVD on April 30.
