Children across the borough came to York House in Twickenham last week to represent their primary school in the annual Pupil Parliament competition.

Mayor of Richmond Councillor Rita Palmer was present to witness Morgan Nossiter and Daniel Overton crowned mayor and deputy mayor.

Jonathan Gilbert of Gifted and Talented Support, Richmond, said: “The children delivered some excellent speeches including some interesting historical facts and suggestions for how to make finding out about local history fun.”
