Premier league Chelsea footballers enjoy curry at Chak 89 in Mitcham
A group of premier league footballers stopped by Mitcham last week to enjoy their favourite dish at an award winning curry house.
Chak 89 in Bond Street welcomed Chelsea players, David Luiz, Oscar, Lucas Piazon, Victor Moses and Arsenal player, Gervinho, on Sunday, December 30, following Chelsea’s 8-0 win against Aston Villa.
Owner Frank Khalid and a Chelsea fan, said he was "overwhelmed with excitement" to welcome the footballers into his restaurant which recently won the award for best restaurant in a London suburb at the British Curry Awards 2012.
