A new cake decorating and baking show, Cake International, will host three days of baking demonstrations and workshops from special guests.
Cake enthusiasts will be joined by the likes of Jo Wheatley, winner of the Great British Bake Off, guest chef Paula Da Costa Greaves and cake cosmetic expert Ann Pickard.
The event, taking place at ExCel on the Royal Victoria Dock from 27 to 29 April, will inspire visitors to explore the latest baking ideas, competitions and free chocolate workshops.
Jo Wheatley, who’s now set up a small cookery school, will be offering her expertise in Q&A sessions each day as well as demonstrating quick and easy recipes.
Visitors have the choice of going to the Bakery Theatre to acquire new skills, take part in the ‘Taste of Sugar’ workshops to master the art of sugarcrafting or pop into the Demonstration Theatres.
Special international guest and sugarcraft artist, Kelvin Chua, will play host to a live Team Challenge Extravaganza.
The challenge will see teams of three battle head-to-head in a bid to produce the most artistically decorated cake.
