One of the most successful and influential songwriters of the golden British 60’s Ray Davies a list of hit songs as long as your arm to his name.

Kinks founder alongside his brother Dave, singer Ray achieved success both in Britain and abroad before turning his talented eye away from the stage and to behind the camera.

Seamlessly transferring his skills to film direction the Godfather of Britpop worked with Channel 4 on Return to Waterloo on 1983, and Weird Nightmare in 1994.

He has also worked on musicals such as Chorus Girls, 80 days and La Jolla Playhouse and most recently Come Dancing, the winner of What’s On Stage "Best off West End Musical "award.

When he comes to Fairfield he will be without his Kinks band members but audience members can still expect to hear such classics such as ‘You Really Got Me’, followed by ‘All Day and All of The Night’, ‘Tired of Waiting’, ‘Set Me Free’, ‘See My Friends’, ‘Till The End of The Day’, ‘A Well Respected Man’, ‘Lola’, ‘Sunny Afternoon’, ‘Dedicated Follower of Fashion’, ‘Apeman’, and ‘Come Dancing’ among many others.
