BGT's Mr Zip searching for his keys and his phone in Kingston
1:20pm Friday 7th September 2012 in Freetime By Nazia Dewji, Reporter
An unlikely rapper who found fame on Britain’s Got Talent after losing his keys and his mobile phone, will be coming to a Kingston nightspot tomorrow night, writes Nazia Dewji.
Zipparah Tafari will perform his catchy single Where Me Keys, Where Me Phone at McClusky’s on Saturday.
The Manchester-born dancer became a household name after expressing frustration at losing his keys and his mobile phone on the show.
He was teased by judge David Walliams about his age, after telling a fellow contestant he was destined for global fame but stormed the auditions before going out in the semi-final.
His audition was also watched on YouTube by more than four million viewers.
The youth worker also visits schools to perform anti-bullying and road-safety songs.
Mr Zip; McClusky’s, Riverside Walk, Kingston, Saturday, September 8, 9pm to 3am. Free before 11pm and £10 after. For more information visit mccluskys.com.
