More than 200 films are being submitted from countries all over the world as they prepare to take part in the seventh annual Wimbledon International Short Film Festival.
Films are being submitted from as far as the US and Australia to as near as Wimbledon itself.
The festival will take place at the Polka Theatre on Saturday, July 5, and the festival will be full of all different types of films such as documentaries, animations, comedies, musicals and much more.
But while there are many various genres, the films do have one thing in common and that is that they are all 15 minutes long or less.
This year’s festival promises to be the best yet due to the number of films submitted, but also because the event will be judged and the panel will be welcomed by internationally acclaimed film critic and historian Derek Malcolm.
Film-makers, screenwriters, producers and local actor Nick Brimble will also be attending the festival.
It is a chance to see what the Wimbledon and international directors have to offer to the film industry but also it is a chance to enjoy all the films that have been put together and to celebrate their hard work.
