A Clapham theatre will be converted into a dancehall for an evening of romantic valentine tango.

The 90-seat studio theatre at Omnibus will be transformed to host an evening of music and dance hosted by Tango On The Thames’ DJ Tony Walker from 7pm to 11.30pm on Saturday, February 13.

In the first hour, tango fans can take part in a general level class and workshop to brush up on their moves before a night of social dancing and some special performances of sultry, pulse racing Argentine tango.

The accompanying music will hark back to the ‘golden age’ with melodies from the 1930s and 1940s, while refreshments and a bar/café will be available.

Tickets cost £15 including the class or £10 for just the dancing. Go to Clapham-omnibus.org or call 020 7498 4699.
