The star of C4’s Derek and Gittins and Ricky Gervais' Cemetery Junction, Brian Gittins, returns to The Hideaway with a brand new show for a ridiculously fabulous night of comedy, live music, the best juggler in the known universe, and two stars off the telly.
Now in our fabulous new venue – the Comedy Room at the award-winning HIDEAWAY in Streatham.
Along with Folk-rockers The Salts who are a brilliant, funny, infectious, co-operative of seasoned musicians, creating what is a mesmerising mix of full speed, foot-stomping traditional and original shanties.
Doing for shanties what the Pogues did for folk, they create one of the most exciting and energetic folk concepts of recent times.
As well as Multi-talented character comedy stand-up and actor, Jo Neary, probably best known for playing obsessive, nervous necrophiliac neighbour Judith in BBC TV’s ‘Ideal’ which starred Johnny Vegas.
Also appeared in BBC1 hit ‘Miranda’, and E4’s ‘Dogface’ sketch show with Dan Skinner (Andreos Epithemiou), Matt King and Kevin Bishop.
Florian Brooks also takes juggling to a new level of jaw-dropping dexterity and timing. His impressive skill and control is such it would be easy to think the batons were velcro-ed to his immaculate suit!
