The Pun-tastic funnyman Tim Vine from Banstead will be performing his brand new chat show later this month.

Following a sellout tour, Joke-Amotive in 2010, and rave reviews at the Edinburgh Festival, the ‘king of one liners’ will be returning to the stage with his own brand of humor to the Harlequin Theatre on Wednesday, February 29.

A well known Banstead resident, born in Cheam, Tim Vine has successfully carved out a career in comedy regularly appearing at the Edinburgh Fringe Film, headlining several sell-out tours and releasing a number of DVDs.

In 2004 he broke the Guinness world record for the most jokes told in an hour smashing the previous record of 362 by more than 100 with 499 jokes.

He held the record until May 2005 when Australian comedian Anthony Lehmo Lehamnn knocked him off the top spot by managing 549 jokes in an hour.

Known for plucking people from their seats during his shows, audience members have been warned to ‘expect the pun-expected’ with his one man stand up Chat Show.

Suitable for those aged 14 years plus, tickets are £17 with the show starting at 8pm.
