A new pub opposite the gates of Hampton Court Palace opened its doors for the first time this week.
The Mute Swan offers a menu of freshly prepared, classic British dishes with some exotic influences as well as cask ales, malts, gins, and 50 wines, which people can try on tasting paddles of three 50cl glasses.
The venue, which can seat 120 people, offers a curved bar downstairs, which also serves food, a dining room upstairs and an outside terrace for al fresco drinking and eating on sunny days.
