Pubs across south west London are getting a bit fruity this summer as Craft Cider Fest comes to town.
A total of 20 ciders will be served until August 30 at pubs including Stane Street Syndicate, The Sun, The Railway Tavern, The Goat, The Falcon and The Calf in Clapham, Hawkins Forge in Battersea Rise, The Jolly Gardeners in Putney, The Hope in Upper Tooting and The Sun Inn in Barnes.
The drinks on draft include two from American brewers Docs, Kentish Jakes Cider and Hawkes Urban Orchard.
And the pubs have identified four types of cider drinker – which one are you?
- The Rosy Cheeked Connoisseur – you are a cider aficionado who drinks cider all year round, come rain or shine
- The Musical Drinker – you choose cider to watch your favourite band and it’s always your drink of choice at a festival
- The Beer Hater – for those who like a hardy drink without the bitterness of beer
- The Thirst Quencher – you enjoy your annual cider in a baking hot beer garden with lots of ice
