SIR - I have been reading with great interest the debate concerning the possible relocation of Christopher Whitehead School. I am in complete agreement with those who oppose this and support the reasons put forward - it will lead to more traffic.
I would also like to suggest that there are many taxpayers in the area who use the school for recreational classes after school hours - they will be denied easy local access to these facilities. I thought that we were moving towards lifetime learning and recreation? Councillors should be aware that these users have a vote and many are of an age when they have the time and commitment to use them to effect.
