The curtain raised yesterday on Sir Trevor Nunn’s The Wars of the Roses at The Rose Theatre, Kingston.

Up until the end of October, a seriously impressive cast including Joely Richardson and Rufus Hound will perform three of the Bard’s histories in what has been described by some as a ‘box set’ or Shakespeare’s Game of Thrones.
