Alice Cooper described Billyboy Miskimmin as the best harp play he had heard since Paul Butterfield.
And the man from Belfast returns with his five-piece Mercy Lounge band, featuring high-standard musicians playing original rhythm and blues from the heart.
After almost 20 years touring the world with the likes of the Yardbirds and Nine Below Zero, Billyboy returns to Twickenham’s Eel Pie Club in August.
He first wowed audiences with his techniques in the 1980s, playing with legends such as Jim Daly and Ronnnie Greer, before going on to play with the likes of BB King and the Doors.
Mercy Lounge; Eel Pie Club, the Patch, London Road, Twickenham; August 28, doors open 8.30pm; tickets £11 on the door; visit eelpieclub.com for tickets and more details.
