Elde, real name Janiequa Quamina, is hosting Da Upcomin in Battersea
A singer-songwriter is helping up-and-coming urban artists to get ahead in the industry with a showcase in Battersea.
Jeniequa Quamina, aka Elde, is giving 10 other performers to showcase their talents at Da Upcomin, a gig she will headline at Battersea Barge in Nine Elms Lane on December 28.
The 20-year-old came third in this year’s TeenStar competition and was subsequently scouted for the X Factor, now she wants artists to unite under one roof rather than compete against each other.
