Homegrown festival LeeFest has announced new acts and some inventive attraction for this summer’s expanded LeeFest presents The Neverland.

Liverpool guitar band Circa Waves will headline on Friday and other high profile acts joining the bill include Everything Everything, Vant, Midland and DJ Marky.

Artists already announced include Lianne La Havas, Roots Manuva, Ghostpoet and Croydon rapper Loyle Carner.

Vant said: “Looking forward to LeeFest Presents: The Neverland, a festival like no other… Created and maintained by one dude and his ever expanding garden. Hopefully we will get to meet the mystery man himself. See you all in the sun (fingers crossed)!”

Held at a secret venue near Tunbridge Wells from July 28 to 30, LeeFest has come a long way since Lee Denny decided to hold a festival in the back garden of his parents’ house in Beckenham ten years ago while they were on holiday.

Having grown enormously, this year will see 12 music venues including three main stages and six immersive stages.

These include the pirates at Skull Ridge with their Bomb Crater Rave, the Lost Boys’ Neverwood Treehouse Stage and a beach party at the Mermaid’s Lagoon.

And there’s a whole lot more besides music, including glitter wrestling, burlesque, adult cinema, craft workshops, hot tubs, paint fights, a casino, cabaret, comedy, street food, magic and secret parties.

Weekend tickets cost £89. Go to leefest.org
