Choir takes Epsom audience on musical journey
A local choir took its audience on a globe-trotting musical journey at their spring concert.
Vocality, a 40-strong mixed a capella choir, performed at St Martin of Tours Church in Epsom on Thursday, March 29.
It performed a programme of uplifting harmony songs from Africa, Georgia, Finland, America and elsewhere - all sung in native languages and learned by ear.
Led by conductor Sam Coates, and with members aged 20 to 70, Vocality was set up in Ewell a year ago. It welcomes new members (particularly male singers) and offers a free taster session, with no experience necessary.
Rehearsals for its summer programme begin on Thursday April 26 at Bourne Hall in Spring Street, Ewell. For more information visit www.vocalitysinging.co.uk or call 07985 094322.
