Scarlett Johansson has admitted she finds it “liberating” shooting steamy sex scenes.
The screen siren – who recently welcomed daughter Rose Dorothy with French husband Romain Dauriac – revealed she likes the challenge of shedding her inhibitions on film if the role demands it.
The new mum opened up in a televised interview with Barbara Walters, having made it to number 10 on the TV icon’s list of the Most Fascinating People of 2014.
She said of filming sex scenes: “You have to be totally without judgment, and it’s sort of liberating. It’s challenging. You have to stay in the moment.”
Lost In Translation star Scarlett also confessed that despite her pin-up status she only thinks of her body as “ok”.
“It’s an OK body. I wouldn’t say it’s particularly remarkable though. I don’t like my thighs, my mid section,” the 30-year-old was quoted as saying.
Asked how she feels about being a sex symbol, the Lucy actress said: “I never put on a sexy face, so I don’t know what it means to act seductively.”
Scarlett also talked about having become a mum in September, saying she prefers to care for her daughter herself rather than hiring help.
“It’s wonderful, and exhausting,” she said. “The love is just unbelievable. It’s very overwhelming.”
