It happened. The final of celebrity Masterchef 2015 just aired and dancer Kimberly Wyatt was hailed as champion.
Twitter users spent the past couple of hours salivating over some pretty spectacular cooking and pondered over the correct pronunciation of ‘macaron’ (mac-a-roon?).
The programme began with some X-Factor-style, heartfelt intros. Cringe.
Rylan said that the competition has been giving him sleepless nights, but felt like a winner already because “at least I can now turn on a hob”. Yes, well done.
Former Pussycat Doll, Kimberly described herself as a “Mum on a mission”.
And Sam (one half of Sam & Mark) said that fame interrupted his catering college course.
In the first round Rylan revealed his fear of fish, admitting: “I don’t trust the fish”. But who does, really?
Kimberly was left to make the dessert of a tonka bean souffle.
Which got the world asking….what IS a tonka bean?
In the final round, Rylan attempted a dessert based on The Shard building.
Surrounded by a blue mousse…
He also made a savoury macaron, which again got twitter thinking.
After all that hard work, Kimberly was triumphant in the end.
But let’s face it, we’re all now more in love with Rylan than ever.
