The future of TV travel is here – Good Morning Britain’s hosts have worked out a new way glide around the set.
The hosts of the ITV show were trying out a Megaboard, a two-wheeled mini-scooter which is controlled by the user’s balance.
Weathergirl Laura Tobin seemed particularly attached to the new toy, gliding around the set with an expert’s touch – though she held her high heeled shoes in her hands.
The 33-year-old joked on Twitter: “At 4am I was like Bambi on ice,” adding: “I’ll try it with heels next!”
Co-host Sean Fletcher tweeted that “walking is so last year” – though he admitted “slopes are an issue”.
Other stars have also been caught trying out the Megaboard in recent weeks, with Lily Allen scooting around the streets of London and Sam Faiers perfecting her skills.
The X Factor judges and hosts also had a go backstage, with Nick Grimshaw rescuing Cheryl Fernandez-Versini when she didn’t quite get the hang of it.
