The Teen Choice Awards 2015 recognised the work of film stars, TV actors, musicians and YouTube sensations.

Naturally, the winners took to social media to thank their fans and bask in the glory of an awards show win.

Choice Female Artist Demi Lovato was so excited only emoticons could express her joy.

Ludacris, accepting the award on behalf of Furious 7 and his late co-star Paul Walker, wrote: β€œIt was an emotional moment but thank you Teen Choice awards for the Love. #rippaulwalker #teenchoiceawards2015 WINNERS #furious7.”

Hunger Games actor Josh Hutcherson won Choice Movie Actor: Sci-Fi/Fantasy for his role as Peeta Mellark, though he was too shy to acknowledge it on social media himself.

Wiz Khalifa played it casual when he won Choice R&B/Hip-Hop Song for See You Again.

Chloe Grace Moretz won for If I Stay, and thanked her fans: β€œTonight was amazing , thank you to my beautiful fans for voting, without you guys nothing is possible!!”

The Pretty Little Liars cast were proud as anything of their epic haul of awards, with a grand total of six.

Little Mix, who performed at the awards before winning Choice Music Breakout Artist, wrote: β€œThank you sooooooo much to our incredible friends, our mixers. You never fail to show how supportive and dedicated you are to us!”

TV host Ellen DeGeneres won Choice Comedian and thanked the teenage voters.

Anna Kendrick was delighted that Pitch Perfect 2 did so well… as were Rebel Wilson, Elizabeth Banks and Skylar Astin.

Chris Evans was the Choice Movie Scene Stealer for Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Choice Country Artist Carrie Underwood heard the news of her two awards on the grapevine.

Chloe Lukasiak, who rose to fame on the reality series Dance Moms, was very, very happy to win Choice Dancer.

The Vampire Diaries also did pretty well, winning Choice TV Show: Sci-Fi/Fantasy.

Paper Towns creator John Green was delighted to see his novel do so well on the big screen.

Kendall Jenner, who won Choice Model, went with a humble retweet.

Insurgent got awards for best actress – and best liplock.

Teen Wolf’s Dylan O’Brien was too modest to tweet about winning Choice TV: Scene Stealer, so MTV did it for him.

Grant Gustin said his win for The Flash was β€œcool”.

Hit TV series Empire won Choice TV: Breakout Show.

While Fifth Harmony scooped up a grand total of three awards.

The Choice Web Star category recognised the work of YouTube’s stars, who expressed their gratitude towards the fans who made them famous.

And Social Media King Justin Bieber went for an understated thank you.
