Daniel Craig and the stars of Spectre will meet the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry at the film’s world premiere.

The new James Bond movie, directed by Skyfall’s Sam Mendes, has been selected for the Cinema and Television Benevolent Fund’s Royal Film Performance 2015.

Stars of the film, including Daniel, Christoph Waltz, Lea Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris, Monica Bellucci and Ralph Fiennes, will be joined on the red carpet by the royal trio at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Monday October 26.

Producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said: “We are honoured that their royal highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry will attend the Royal Film Performance of Spectre and delighted the CTBF will be the beneficiary of the event.”

For the first time, the new Bond film will open in cinemas throughout the UK on the same day as the premiere and tickets are already on sale.

The CTBF provides support in times of need for those working behind the scenes in film and television.

Spectre, the 24th instalment in the 007 franchise, is the third Bond film chosen for the Royal Film Performance since its inception in 1946. Die Another Day, starring Pierce Brosnan, was selected in 2002 along with Craig’s first outing as Bond, Casino Royale, in 2006.

It was recently announced that Sam Smith has recorded the theme song for the new movie. Writing’s On The Wall will be unveiled on Friday September 25.
