After 14 years, “really, really ridiculously good looking” male model Derek Zoolander is back – but washed up and out of favour in the fashion industry.
A new trailer features a cameo from Benedict Cumberbatch as an androgynous model called All, “the biggest supermodel in the whole world”.
The Sherlock actor looks the part in a white fur coat, long black wig and bleached eyebrows.
When Zoolander asks, “Are you a male model or a female model?” Benedict replies: “All is all.”
Justin also shows off his sense of humour as he runs from an assassin, saying: “Oh fudge!”
As he lies on the floor after taking a bullet, he snaps a pouting selfie and adds: “Peace out, world.”
Ben Stiller is back as Zoolander and Owen Wilson returns as Hans “Hansel” McDonald, to play the two intellectually-challenged former models.
With their careers taking a dive, they find themselves on a game show wearing labels saying “old” and “lame”.
But Montana Grosso (Penelope Cruz) arrives to break the news: someone is murdering the world’s “most beautiful people” – and the Biebs is a victim, alongside Usher, Miley Cyrus, and Demi Lovato.
Who can help? Zoolander, apparently. But when he and Hansel agree to help, it’s a recipe for mishaps and funny gags.
Will Ferrell is also back as criminal mastermind Mugatu, fresh out of prison, “bad to the core”, and desperate for a latte.
Zoolander 2 is released on February 12 2016.
