Bleakley limbers up for charity run

Christine Bleakley limbers up as she gets into shape to launch a charity fundraising run which will see hundreds of thousands of women taking part.

The former Daybreak star was joined by Emmerdale's Roxanne Pallett and Sugababe Heidi Range as they prepared to tackle various 5k events for Cancer Research UK's Race for Life.

The trio are encouraging runners to sign up to Vodafone's JustTextGiving service to maximise their fundraising potential.

Around 600,000 people will be taking part in one of 240 Race for Life events across the UK this summer, raising funds for research into 200 types of cancer.

Christine and co want as many people as possible to sign up for a free code from JustTextGiving to help towards the fundraising target of £55 million.

Christine, tanned from a recent jaunt to the Italy with fiance Frank Lampard, said: "My friends and family are now donating via text knowing that 100% of their money is going to the charity."

Heidi will be taking part at the Aintree event on June 24, Roxanne is due to run in Bolton on July 1 and Christine will be in Richmond on July 15.
