“We might. I’d like to,” said Tom, to which the Only Love Can Hurt Like This singer added: “Who knows? I would too.”

Paloma, who has duetted with Sir Elton John, Plan B, Jools Holland and Basement Jaxx, said the Welsh crooner is a calming presence on stage.

“Tom’s an amazing person to be on stage with. He softens me!” the 33-year-old singer said.

“I feel very relaxed. I think we speak a similar musical language and that’s why it feels very easy. Sometimes when you collaborate with people, it can clash or it feels like you come from different worlds, but I feel like Tom and I speak the same language.”
