Kim Kardashian has shown she’s not afraid to laugh at herself by featuring in an advert that pokes fun at her penchant for selfies.

The reality TV star tweeted that she would be starring in a T-Mobile ad screening during the Super Bowl this weekend and that a sneak preview would be available during last night’s episode of Conan O’Brien.

In the advert, Kim played mock-serious as she appealed to viewers over the plight of lost mobile data and implored them to put theirs to good use by tracking her every move.

She said: “Hi I’m Kim. Each month, millions of gigs of unused data are taken back by wireless companies. Tragic. Data you paid for can be used to see my make-up, my backhand, my outfits, my vacations and my outfits. Sadly all lost. Please, help save the data.”

The advert showed Kim, 34, who is known for posting regular updates about what she has been up to, taking selfies in the bathroom mirror, on holiday and while playing tennis.

Over the weekend, Kim was in Washington DC with husband Kanye West for the 2015 BET Honours, where he won the Visionary Award.
