Rita Ora has revealed one of her biggest hobbies – fishing.

The singer, 26, appeared on BBC Breakfast in a single-collared shirt and told the show that catching fish calms her down.

“I fish. It’s a random thing for me to do but I like it, it’s relaxing,” the star said.

“I mean you just sit there and wait for the fish to take the bait.

“I just wait and see what happens.”

Ora is singing on the Grenfell Tower charity single Bridge Over Troubled Water, masterminded by Simon Cowell, to raise money for victims of the disaster.

She told the BBC show: “Recording it was a bit hard for me. I was begging that they didn’t put me tearing up in the video… I couldn’t really get the words out.”

She added: “It’s a very, very great place to live so it’s just awful when something like that happens in such a beautiful place.”

Ora, who visited the scene to help sort donations after the fire, said: “It was so amazing to see the community come together. That was the most amazing part of it all. I grew up in that neighbourhood.”

The Your Song singer said she had received “so much support” since revealing that she went through a “quarter-life crisis”.

“So many people go through the same thing,” she said.

“When I was 25 something happened to me. I was going through this thing. Am I getting older, or am I still young?”
