THAT'LL BE THE DAY is all about nostalgia, reflecting the music and tone of an era that changed the course of music history and youth culture forever. The show was established on the cabaret circuit in the late 1980's and began playing regional theatres in the early 1990's and returns to the Epsom Playhouse by public demand on Tuesday 1 July.

Having delighted audiences throughout the UK for over two decades, ‘That’ll Be The Day’ is back on the road thrilling audiences with the most popular feel-good comedy routines and favourite hits from the 1950s, ‘60s and ‘70s.

Despite performing as many as 230 shows a year to capacity audiences across the UK, Trevor Payne (who originally created the show back in 1987) still directs, produces and stars in the production today rewrites the show every year. Over six months is taken in planning and preparation, culminating in a month of intensive rehearsals before the show once again takes to the road with its new offering every year.

That’ll Be The Day is renowned for its work with worthy causes such as BT Childline among others and most recently have raised over £100,000 for the show’s chosen charity Help For Heroes, the organisation set up for British soldiers wounded serving their country.

Trevor Payne said: “It’s an honour to work with Help For Heroes and support the continued efforts of the Servicemen and Women of this country.”
