SPECSAVERS in Sidcup is inviting readers to look out for the Eye Department at Queen Mary’s Hospital.

Store staff will be selling cakes and collecting prize draw entries on Saturday (February 15) with money going to the department.

To kick off the fundraising fun, News Shopper has teamed up with Specsavers in Sidcup to give readers the chance to win one of four pairs of designer glasses, worth £125.

Sidcup store director Ebahi Demi-Ejegi said: “We’ve chosen to raise money for the Queen Mary’s Hospital Eye Department as we believe it’s an important part of local community.

“If we notice anything unusual during eye tests we refer customers to this department so it made sense to support them.”
