Police are appealing for witnesses after two women were beaten up outside Aquum nightclub in Clapham.

The incident happened just after 2am on Sunday, September 30, in Clapham High Street.

The two victims, aged 20 and 22, were in the nightclub when one of their friends and another woman got into an argument.

The pair tried to defuse the fight but after they left the club and crossed the High Street they were approached by a man and attacked.

One of the victims was taken to a south London hospital where she received treatment for a "non-life threatening" facial injury.

The suspect is described as a black man in his early 20’s.
