Two days left until Wandsworth's secondary school applicaton deadline

Parents have just two days left to submit their list of secondary school choices for next September’s intake of pupils.

Applications must be in by Wednesday, October 31, if parents want their child to obtain a place at a state-run secondary school at the start of the next academic year in September 2013.

This deadline applies to children who were born between September 1, 2001 and August 31, 2002 and will be transferring from primary to secondary school next September.

Parents who live in the borough must submit their applications to Wandsworth Council and the easiest way to do this is online at www.wandsworth.gov.uk/admissions, alternatively they can call 020 8871 7316.

The website also contains a brochure called 'Choose a Wandsworth Secondary School' which contains all the key information families need when making their decisions.

Parents who apply in time will be told the outcome of their applications at the beginning of March next year.
