Elderly man found dead following reports of burglary
A man in his 70s was found dead in a house after a burglary was reported.
Police were called to the house in Hazlebury Road, off Wandsworth Bridge Road, at 6.20am this morning.
They arrived to find the pensioner severely injured.
The London Ambulance service was called but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said the next of kin have been informed.
No arrests have been made.
