Teenager fighting for life after fight in Alton Estate, Roehampton
A teenager is fighting for his life after being stabbed in a fight in Roehampton's Alton Estate.
The incident happened in Norley Vale, off Bessborough Road, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
According to sources, there was a fight involving a number of youngsters in the estate when the victim was stabbed.
The man was found with a single stab wound to his torso and was taken to St George's Hospital.
A spokesman for Wandsworth Police said: "Police were called at 12.30am on Saturday, November 17 to reports of a fight in Norley Vale, Roehampton.
"They found a man believed to be his 20s with a stab wound.
"He was taken to a south London hospital where he is in a critical condition."
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) said they sent a ambulance and the air ambulance to the scene.
A spokesman for the LAS said: "A 19-year-old man was found with a stab and he was escorted, with a doctor, to a south London hospital as a priority."
A resident, who did not want to be named, said: "Everybody in the estate is talking about it."
