A woman fell out of a flat window while police were at the scene of a stabbing.

Police were called to Falcon Road, Battersea, at about 1.30pm on Sunday after a 29-year-old man was found with stab wounds.

He was taken to hospital by air ambulance where he was said to be in a stable condition.

While they were at the scene a woman fell from the window of a flat in Edwin Trayfoot Lodge, Falcon Road.

She was taken to hospital with leg injuries and remains in a stable condition.

Police believe both incidents are linked to the same flat in Edwin Trayfoot Lodge, where a party was possibly taking place.

Seven people have since been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm in relation to the injuries suffered by the 29-year-old man.

Five men aged 20, 21, 22, 26 and 31, as well as two women aged 18 and 22, are on bail pending further enquiries until December.

Officers from Wandsworth CID are investigating.
