A fourth man has been jailed over the killing of a 20-year-old found in a pool of blood just metres from his home.

Chukwurunim Dexter Ozour, 20, of Glebe Path, Mitcham, was given a seven and a half years prison sentence for the manslaughter of Mahad Mohammed at the Old Bailey yesterday.

Mr Mohammed, of Sporle Court, Battersea was found stabbed to death in the Winstanley Estate, Wye Street, Battersea on July 22 last year.

Neighbours were woken up in the middle of the night who heard him shrieking for help in Somalian.

Witnesses said they saw a gang attacking the 20-year-old, with him trying to run away, bleeding heavily and collapsing.

A post mortem examination found he suffered four stab wounds to his back, hip, chest and neck.

The Old Bailey heard hours before his death Mr Mohammed was at a bar in Streatham with his brother, while the pair stopping to buy cigarettes on their way home.

Mr Mohammed was approached Jermaine Sawyers and they agreed to meet later in the evening, after he dropped his brother at home.

A short time after he was killed, Mr Mohammed was found clutching a wad of cash in his hand.

Police launched a murder investigation, identifying the defendants through CCTV footage.

Earlier this year two men were given life sentences for his murder.

Jermaine Sawyers, 19, and Cori Lindsey, 18, both of no fixed address, were found guilty following a trial at the Old Bailey earlier this year.

Sawyers was given life imprisonment with a minimum of 20 years. Lindsey was given life imprisonment with a minimum of 14-and-a-half years.

A third teenager, Omar Harrison, 19, of Kenmore Road, Harrow, was also given nine years for manslaughter.
