Fire leaves party bus completely ruined

A party bus was left completely ruined when fire broke out inside.

Firecrews from Clapham, Tooting and Wimbledon were called to the blaze at a storage yard in Weir Road, Balham, at about 11.30pm.

It took them half an hour to put the fire out, which is being treated as non suspicious.

The bus had been transformed into a party bus, with DVD players and entertainment systems inside which could have caught alight.

It was left completely damaged, while fire investigation crews are investigating the cause of the blaze.

Nobody was inside it at the time.

The fire service were bombarded with calls from people believing the fire was at a nearby school.
