Adrian Palaniciuc
A body pulled from the Thames by Putney Bridge is thought to be that of a 17-year-old teenager.
Formal identification of the body is yet to take place, but it is believed it is Adrian Palaniciuc, of Hounslow.
Police and diving crews, ambulance crews and the RNLI were on Putney embankment Tuesday morning to pull the body from the river.
Mr Palaniciuc, a Romanian national, has been missing from his home in Whitton Road, Hounslow, since December 4.
Police believe he may have been in the Richmond Bridge area at about 9.30pm the same day.
He had only been living in London for three months and could speak little English.
A press release issued by the Hounslow Police last month said: "It is out of character for Adrian to go missing and due to this unusual behaviour officers are seriously concerned about his safety and wellbeing."
