Two schools closed following snow and helicopter crash
Two schools have closed today to avoid any problems caused by the snow.
Sir James Barrie Primary School, in Condell Road, Battersea, and St George's Primary School, in Corunna Road, Battersea, have closed today as a precaution.
The road network surrounding the two schools has already been affected following the helicopter crash on Wednesday.
Wandsworth Council gritting crews have been treating roads overnight, with main roads treated as a priority.
Smaller residential roads will be gritted in an established pattern, while attention is being paid to tube and railway station entrances.
People can collect salt from bins located throughout the borough.
