A Clapham man is among four people charged with conspiring to rob three bookmakers in Surrey last week.

Stewart Robinson, 24, from Clapham, is accused of robbing branches of William Hill, Ladbrokes and Coral Racing between January 20 and 26.

The three bookmakers targeted by the gang are in Guildford and Camberley.

Steven Doukoure, 18, of no fixed address, and Nathan Baptiste, 21, from Denmark Hill, were charged and released on bail.

Mr Robinson and a 16-year-old, from Tulse Hill, who cannot be named for legal reasons, were charged and remanded in custody.

All four defendants will appear at Guildford Crown Court on February 14.
