Funeral for Matthew Wood killed in helicopter crash
The funeral of the pedestrian killed in the Vauxhall helicopter crash will be held this month.
Matthew Wood, 39, of Brunswick Road, Sutton, was killed in the crash as he walked to his office in Wandsworth Road on January 16.
His sister, Amanda, described him as a “big guy with a big heart”.
His funeral will be held on Friday, February 15, at 4pm at North East Surrey Crematorium in Lower Morden Lane.
His family are asking people to donate to the Cats Protection League instead of buying flowers– in honour of his love for his two cats Skunk and Evie.
