Tube death woman named
A woman who died after falling under a moving tube had only been living in London for a few months.
Ulrica Ydeskog, a Swedish national, died last Sunday by falling under a tube in Clapham South underground station.
The telecommunications worker moved to London last year, having relocating from Australia where she lived since 2007.
While in Australia she studied at Macquarie University in the outskirts of Sydney and went onto work as a promoter in the area.
Firefighters and the London Ambulance Service (LAS) were called to Clapham South station at 9.20am on Sunday morning.
Ms Ydeskog, who is thought to be aged between 25 to 30 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A close friend, who wished to remain anonymous, said: "She was an amazing girl who had a heart of gold. I'm shocked to hear this terrible news.
"I knew her when she lived and worked in Australia and she was an amazing person. She was that person who always had a smile on her face when she entered a room."
