Police were called to Nando's in Balham yesterday afternoon after a fight broke out.

Staff and diners grew concerned when a large group of men at a table started arguing.

The argument quickly escalated and several of the group started trading blows.

Shocked staff called police but the group ran away before they arrived.

A spokesman for Wandsworth police said: "We were called to Nando's in Balham High Road at 3.30pm on February 14.

"A group of males were sitting eating together when a dispute broke out which escalated into an affray."

Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage and are investigating the possible involvement of two vehicles.

If anyone has any information could they contact Wandsworth CID on 020 3276 2587.
