A gang member jailed for the manslaughter of a care worker stabbed to death outside a nightclub is being hunted by police.

Aspiring model Edwin Bamfo, of Upper Norwood, was jailed for 10 years in December 2006, for the manslaughter of Charles Anokye.

The 24-year-old was released from jail, but is now wanted on recall to prison after breaching the terms of his release.

He is also suspected of committing a drug offence in Norfolk.

Mr Ankoye, 23, who worked in a nursing home, was set upon by a gang after he left Mass, a club beneath St Matthew's Church in Brixton on August 1, 2005.

He was chased by the gang and stabbed 13 times, before the group stole his phone, keys and money as he lay dying. Mr Bamfo was one of five men jailed over the attack.

He is one of five wanted men police have released images of in a bid to track them down.

Shannon Webb is wanted on recall to prison. The 21-year-old who has previously been convicted of burglary, is wanted in connection with a burglary in Croydon and failing to appear at Croydon Magistrates Court after being charged with Actual Bodily Harm.

Gerald Atkins, 25, is also wanted on recall to prison having been convicted of burglary and David Wood, 32, is wanted on recall to prison, having previously been convicted of burglary.

Police are hunting Daniel Williamson, 32, who is wanted in connection with several burglaries in Croydon.

Detective Sergeant Steve George from Croydon CID said: "We would urge the public to let us know if they have seen any of these people about or know where we can find them.

"They are all wanted by us, but despite officers carrying out numerous visits to addresses they are known at, we have not been able to locate them as yet."
